Our Founders of Friendship
The West Valley Social Skills Group team is comprised of dedicated professionals with extensive experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Educational Therapy, and Counseling Psychology. With a focus on supporting individuals with special needs, our team combines expertise in behavior intervention, educational support, and mental health counseling. From providing Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention to offering individual, family, and group therapy, our team is committed to promoting growth, confidence, and social development in our clients.

Ruzanna Grigoryan
An ABA practitioner since 2008, I found my calling while supporting children with special needs in schools. Transitioning to a master’s level clinician, I excelled in Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention and LAUSD settings. Now, I am focused on Counseling Psychology with an MFT emphasis, guiding individuals towards self-awareness and growth. In therapy, I addresses mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions, using evidence-based interventions for healing and positive change.

Josh Horwatt
Josh Horwatt has worked in education for the past 20 years. He began his work in education in autism behavior support. His work led him to become a teacher and eventually an in-school resource specialist. He established and grew the educational resource program at a private school in Los Angeles and worked there for 5 years until he founded his private educational therapy practice. Josh now has a team of skilled educators who work with children of all abilities and neuro types to support them as learners. He is passionate about education and has three children of his own

Ivan Montenegro
Transitioning into the field of ABA in 2010, I've since evolved from a Behavior Interventionist Implementor in school districts to a Behavior Therapist in consumer homes. Becoming a supervisor in 2017 and a BCBA in 2021, I'm driven by a constant pursuit of growth. Working across various settings and populations, my aim is to enhance consumer support and supervisee development daily.
